By submitting this form and your play I affirm that I understand and agree to the following Terms and Conditions: I am currently enrolled in an accredited college or university; I understand that my submission fee is just that and is non-refundable and guarantees only that my play will be read in its entirety and read by the LACPF Volunteer Selection Committee, unless otherwise noted; I understand that by selecting the option of script coverage (commentary), that all comments are solely the opinion of the LACPF, and therefore will not seek judgment for any opinion stated henceforth, and that this fee is also non-refundable; My play has not been published or produced professionally or otherwise, outside of a staged reading or production at the aforementioned college or institution; I warrant that I am the sole owner of the copyright, and that the material hereby requested does not infringe upon the copyright, or any other rights, of anyone; or, in the case of jointly authored Material, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless LACPF from any damage or expense that may arise in the event of a breach of any of the warranties set forth within these terms; For jointly authored Material, I agree to act as the authorized agent for the others and guarantees that all co-authors also meet all of the guidelines stated within; If selected, I understand that proof of enrollment must be provided or confirmed, and if determined falsified, the playwright shall be disqualified and all fees shall be forfeited; If selected, I understand, and grant permission, that my play will be produced and performed in a venue within the city of Los Angeles and included in the publication THE LOS ANGELES COLLEGIATE PLAYWRIGHT FESTIVAL of the appropriate year; In the event that any elements used in the Material contain the work of other individuals or legal entities, I understand that it is my responsibility to secure any necessary permissions and/or licenses and will provide it in writing to LACPF. If the copyright holder requires a citation to a copyrighted work, I have obtained the correct wording and will provide it for the proper authority within LACPF.
